Haig Housing Trust Joins the Charity Housing Alliance

The Charity Housing Alliance (CHA) is pleased to welcome Haig Housing Trust as a new member, further strengthening the collective voice of charitable housing providers across England.
Haig Housing Trust provides safe, secure homes for veterans and their families, supporting those who have served the nation to live independently within strong, connected communities. The Trust has a long history of adapting to meet changing needs, while working in close collaboration with partners across the housing, charitable and public sectors.
Haig Housing Trust’s work highlights the vital role that charitable housing plays in delivering homes with purpose - particularly for individuals and families whose needs are shaped by service life. Its membership brings valuable experience, insight and perspective to the Charity Housing Alliance at a key moment for the sector.
Tim Stockings, Chief Executive of Haig Housing Trust, said:
“For more than a century, Haig Housing Trust has provided vital housing for veterans and their families by continually adapting and by working in close partnership with others. Collaboration has been central to our resilience and success.
“The Charity Housing Alliance is an essential, collective voice for the sector—championing the value of charitable housing and enabling providers to work together to address shared challenges, seize emerging opportunities, and deliver lasting impact.”
CHA looks forward to working with Haig Housing Trust and our members to ensure the role of charitable housing is clearly recognised, supported, and reflected in national policy and future decision-making.
